After School Robotics Club
After School Robotics Club will be held on Thursday, April 23 from 4 to 5 p.m. at the Southwest Branch Library. Designed for ages 9 and up, this hands-on program uses LEGO Education Spike Prime robots to teach teamwork, coding, and technology through interactive challenges and creative builds.
Hand Embroidery Basics: Arabic Alphabet
Hand Embroidery Basics: Arabic Alphabet will take place on Thursday, April 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the George W. Hawkes Downtown Library. This hands-on class invites participants ages 13 and up to explore the art of embroidery while learning stitches inspired by the Arabic alphabet in celebration of Arab American Heritage Month. Limited to the first 12 attendees, the program offers a focused and creative introduction to fiber arts.
Levitt Pavilion Opening Weekend
Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy Levitt Pavilion’s Opening Weekend. Uncle Lucius and Jordan Nix will kick things off on Friday, April 24. Then Jay Perez and Sabor Puro will take the stage on Saturday, April 25. The Levitt Youth Spotlight continues this year as Mason Engler and Natalia Vega perform to start the season.
Trivia Night at J. Gilligan’s
Trivia Night at J. Gilligan’s Bar & Grill will take place on Tuesday, April 28 at 7 p.m. at J. Gilligan’s Bar & Grill. This weekly favorite invites teams and friends to test their knowledge across a variety of trivia topics in a lively, social atmosphere. Expect a fun, competitive night out where bragging rights are always on the line.
