In Class 6A, Byron Nelson’s narrow 2-1 loss to Keller Central on Tuesday allowed Jesuit to rise to its highest ranking of the season so far at No. 3. South Grand Prairie makes its first appearance in the Top 10 this season after Flower Mound dropped back-to-back games on Friday and Tuesday to Coppell and Hebron.
The biggest change in Class 5A and others is Prosper Walnut Grove dropping out after back-to-back losses to both Anna and Melissa. Fort Worth Paschal makes its debut in the Top 10 after seven consecutive wins, during which they’ve only surrendered three runs. Hillcrest also lost this past week but remained at No. 9. The Colony was the biggest benefactor this week from losses by Melissa and Frisco Panther Creek, jumping two spots in the Top 10.
