Most people who use OpenTable are making reservations at a local restaurant, but the online service also puts together lists of the top places to eat across the country. More recently, OpenTable dropped its list of the top 100 brunch restaurants ahead of Mother’s Day, and one San Antonio eatery made the cut.

OpenTable’s top 100 brunch restaurants list featured Chama Gaucha, a Brazilian steakhouse known for its all-you-can-eat experience. The list was presented in alphabetical order by state and by restaurant name, and the results were determined by diner reviews and metrics from March 1, 2025 to February 28, 2026.

Chama Gaucha opened its first location in San Antonio in 2008, and later, the restaurant expanded with locations in Houston, Dallas and Chicago. The steakhouse is known as a churrascaria, a style of service in which skewers of steaks are brought around and sliced by skilled servers throughout a meal. The all-you-can-eat experience includes a self-serve salad bar, craft cocktails and desserts.

The restaurant is already accepting reservations for Mother’s Day on May 10, noting in a social post, “For the woman who deserves nothing less than an exceptional experience. Reserve now and celebrate Mom with us.”
