Crash causes full lane closure, power outage in Euless, officials say

An 18-wheeler hit power lines on West Pipeline Road in Euless, causing all lanes to close and knocking out power in a portion of the city.

EULESS, Texas — A crash prompted a power outage and full lane closure on West Pipeline Road in Euless Wednesday morning, officials said. 

An 18-wheeler hit power lines on West Pipeline Road in Euless, shutting down all lanes and causing a power outage in the Morrisdale area, according to a social media post from the Euless Police Department. 

All lanes of West Pipeline Road are closed between Arwine Court and Driftwood Drive, the post states. 

The roadway is expected to remain closed until late Wednesday afternoon, officials said. 

Oncor is in the area and working to repair the lines, according to the post.
