PITTSBURG, Texas — East Texas native and country music artist Koe Wetzel announced his engagement to his girlfriend Bailey Fisher.
In a joint Instagram post, Wetzel, who is from Pittsburg, and Fisher announced their engagement featuring photos of the couple and proposal, including one photo with their daughter. The post was captioned, “it’s always been us.”
Back in February, Wetzel was honored with city of Pittsburg officials, naming Feb. 28 as his own day in the city and a mural. He captioned that post saying, “Just a kid from Pittsburg, Texas.” Feb. 28 also holds quite some significance for Wetzel as one of his songs is titled, “February 28, 2016,” which was the night that Wetzel was arrested for public intoxication.
