EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — Students and staff at Franklin High School were placed on lockdown as law enforcement investigated an incident in the area Thursday morning.
“Out of an abundance of caution the Franklin campus is currently in LOCKDOWN protocol due to an incident in the area,” the statement said.
The statement said El Paso ISD PD and its law enforcement partners “have responded promptly and are investigating” and that the community would be updated “as appropriate.”
“The safety and well-being of our students and staff remain our top priority,” the statement said. “We are grateful for our community’s support and trust.”
