Dallas police arrested a man they said was driving drunk when he crashed into a police cruiser overnight Thursday.
According to police, officers responded to a crash around 12:45 a.m. Thursday in the 2300 block of US 75, the Dallas Police Department said in a press release. Officers found the driver, 40-year-old Adebayo Adeseye, had crashed into a marked Dallas Police squad car on the scene.
The officer was not injured in the crash.
Adeseye was arrested at the scene and charged with driving while intoxicated.
Police said the investigation is ongoing.
