Lovers Pizzeria is one of those places that could sell out of food if you don’t get in line soon enough, but that may soon change after the viral San Antonio pizza shop implements a few modifications to its service model.

On Wednesday, April 22, Lovers Pizzeria sent out a PSA to its dedicated follower base on Instagram, letting the people know that the restaurant’s usual way of doing things will change in the coming weeks.

“This will be the last month of counter service! Starting May 14th we will be moving to full service! We will be doing reservations/limited walk-ins and will have online ordering for to-go pizzas!” the pizza place wrote in its post. “This will hopefully give everyone a better experience at Lovers. A lot more details to come.”

Currently, folks line up at the counter to order their food for dining in or to go, but because of the huge demand, Lovers Pizzeria often has to cut the line off at a certain time, as they can only allow for a finite number of orders each day. In other words, if you show up late, there’s a chance somebody already ordered the last pie.

“Lovers 3.0 coming soon. Till then in person counter service will continue,” the restaurant said in its post.

With online ordering and reservations on the horizon, customers of Lovers Pizzeria will have the power to get their foot in the door without having to line up right when the business opens.
