This week, we’re celebrating summer camp week on Daybreak to get families prepared for summer fun before the school year ends.
DALLAS — Summer camp season is quickly approaching, and the choices can be overwhelming.Â
That’s why, this week on Daybreak, we have been breaking down everything you need to know when choosing a camp for your kids. From April 20 through 24, our Daybreak crew has been breaking down the process of planning a safe, engaging, and affordable summer. Each day focused on helping parents make informed decisions, whether they’re booking their first camp or adjusting last-minute plans.
So far, we’ve taken a look at how to ensure your child is in a safe environment in the aftermath of the Camp Mystic tragedy. Plus, how to use the resources you already have to make summer camps more affordable.Â
To wrap up the week, we’re highlighting affordable, accessible options for summer camps that still have openings. These camps are located across Collin, Dallas, and Tarrant counties, and offer a variety of opportunities for your child to learn new things and make new friends.Â
