The TDLR reveals that a renovation/alteration is set for Dell’s outpost located at 1404 Park Center Drive near the Walnut Creek-Pioneer Hill area in Austin. This redevelopment, which begins this summer, is expected to take approximately seven months to complete, but all TDLR filings are subject to change at any time.

It’s unclear how these upgrades could impact work at Dell, or if any employees will have to relocate. MySA reached out to Dell for comment on the upcoming makeover, but did not hear back prior to publication.

Dell’s Cedar Park Drive facility is located within the corporate Home Depot Austin Technology Center South, according to Google Maps. The scope of work for the 20,000-square-foot space includes adding a new server rack containment with supporting MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) equipment, per the TDLR.

There will also be a small office remodel with some exterior MEP yard work, the filing details. Construction on the project is slated to begin in early June, and the TDLR estimates the renovations should be finished by January 2027. Dell’s global headquarters is based in Round Rock, a city north of Austin.

However, the software company maintains a massive presence in the Austin area with more than 13,000 employees working across multiple locations, including bigger campuses on Parmer Lane and the Tech Ridge area.
