EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — A tense encounter between El Paso police officers and an individual was seen on a viral video inside a retail shop, showing officers restraining and removing the person from the premises.
According to Fitfam, the incident happened on Wednesday at a clothing shop on Yandell Drive.
The footage recorded begins with officers attempting to control a woman wearing a blue shirt.
The situation quickly escalates as at least two officers physically restrain her against a counter before bringing her to the ground.
In the video, the woman can be seen struggling while officers attempt to secure her arms.
The officers eventually bring her to a kneeling position on the floor as they continue efforts to detain her.
The situation then moves outside the store, where additional officers are present.
Police vehicles can be seen parked nearby.
