AUSTIN, Texas — The Bullock Texas State History Museum is roaring into November with a dino-mite edition of its monthly H-E-B Free First Sunday.

On November 2, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., visitors can enjoy free admission and a full day of prehistoric fun celebrating the new exhibition, T. rex: The Ultimate Predator.

Kimberly Crabb and James McReynolds joined We Are Austin’s Sierra Waggoner to give a preview of what families can expect.

“Free First Sunday happens on the first Sunday of every month, and we offer free admission from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.,” said Kimberly Crabb with the Bullock Museum. “All of our galleries are open, including our special exhibition. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., we’ll have special activities featuring partners like the Austin Public Library, GirlStart, and a pop-up fossil museum with Dino Bo — it’s going to be so much fun. But the real highlight this month is getting to see our brand-new T. rex: The Ultimate Predator exhibit.”

This month’s Free First Sunday highlights the T. rex: The Ultimate Predator exhibition, on loan from the American Museum of Natural History, offering visitors a fascinating look at one of the most iconic creatures in history.

“The T. rex: The Ultimate Predator exhibit was created by the American Museum of Natural History, and it’s outstanding,” said James McReynolds “They’ve done an incredible job with life-sized models, fossil casts, and tons of interactive elements. Kids are absolutely going to love it.”

The Bullock even brought a T Rex to the studio- it was a roarin’ great time!

Whether you’re a lifelong dino fan or just looking for a free day of fun in Austin, the Bullock’s Free First Sunday promises to be an event that’s larger than life!
