Texas linebacker and former Denton Ryan standout Anthony Hill Jr. is headed to the NFL.

The Tennessee Titans selected Hill with the 60th pick in the second round of the 2026 NFL draft.

The two-time second-team All-American flourished in his three years in Texas, becoming an integral part of the Longhorns’ defense amid a program resurgence that saw two CFP berths and three consecutive 10+ win seasons while he was in Austin.

In 40 games for Texas, Hill tallied 249 total tackles, including 31.5 tackles for loss and 17 sacks. He also demonstrated a penchant for creating turnovers with three interceptions and eight forced fumbles for the Longhorns.

The 21-year-old of Wichita, Kan. was among the top linebacker prospects ahead of the draft and was the 6th taken. Prior to that, he was The Dallas Morning News’ top-ranked Dallas-area recruit from the Class of 2023.
