Miami Dolphins select Texas Tech WR Caleb Douglas in NFL draft

The Miami Dolphins selected Texas Tech wide receiver Caleb Douglas with the 75th overall pick in the third round of the NFL draft on Friday.

Douglas was the lead receiver on Texas Tech’s first College Football Playoff team. He led the Red Raiders with 846 receiving yards and seven receiving touchdowns. In two seasons at Texas Tech, Douglas had 1,723 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Prior to transferring to Texas Tech, Douglas played two seasons at Florida.
