EL PASO, TEXAS (KFOX14/CBS4) — The City of El Paso is inviting residents to welcome war veterans as they return home from their Honor Flight.

On Saturday, April 25, at 4 p.m., veterans of the Korean War and Vietnam War will be landing in El Paso after their journey on their Rio Grande Honor Flight to Washington, D.C.

The trip offers veterans the opportunity to visit national memorials built in their honor as they embrace moments of reflection and healing.

The community is invited to welcome them back at the El Paso International Airport. The city encourages people to bring flags and signs with messages of appreciation to celebrate the veterans and their service.
