With the NFL Draft in the books, the Cowboys have quickly turned their attention to undrafted free agents.
Dallas signed SMU wide receiver Jordan Hudson roughly an hour after the draft concluded on Saturday, according to The Dallas Morning News’ Joseph Hoyt. The senior had a career-high 61 catches for 766 yards and hauled in six touchdowns last season. He was a third-team All-ACC selection.
Hudson brings top-end speed, which he showcased against two of the best teams in the conference last season. He had a 70-yard touchdown reception in a win over Clemson on Oct. 18 and a career-best 131 receiving yards against Miami on Nov. 1.
The wideout is a hometown signing for the Cowboys after playing his high school football at Garland. He spent his first collegiate season at TCU before transferring to SMU.
