ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) – The Lady Bronchos survived their three-game series against the Spartans.
The round began with game one on Friday. Odessa had the bats hot in that contest, winning the first meeting 17-8.
The second game got underway Saturday morning and featured another strong start from the Lady Bronchos. Big Red’s Tatyana Deliz scored five runs off two home runs. Despite that success, Pebble Hills fought back to win 12-11.
It all came down to game three, a match that Odessa dominated. The Lady Bronchos controlled the momentum to defeat the Spartans 11-1.
The 6A-DI Bi-District Title gives OHS its first gold glove trophy in five years.
Odessa improved to 18-17 with the first round victories.
Big Red now sets its sights on Timber Creek. The Lady Bronchos and Falcons will face off in the area round next week.
