According to preliminary reports released by authorities, officers were in the 200 Block of College Street around 2:10 a.m., when they first heard shots being fired. Officers then made their way into a parking garage near the location where they discovered a man with multiple gunshot wounds.
Early reports by officials state they’re still investigating into what led up to the shooting, but officers were investigating a verbal argument prior to the incident, they said.
The man, an unidentified 19-year-old, was transported to a nearby hospital with “non life threatening injuries.” Officers also detained a potential suspect for further investigation, reports indicate. A 20-year-old woman.
