DeMarvion Overshown is reportedly making a key decision ahead of his fourth season with the Dallas Cowboys.
Overshown is well-known for representing players like wide receiver George Pickens and pass rusher Micah Parsons. On Wednesday, Cowboys co-owner Stephen Jones said he conducted a cordial discussion with Mulugheta about the organization’s move to not seek a long-term contract extension with Pickens. Pickens is expected to sign his nonexclusive franchise tag with the Cowboys.
Last offseason, Mulugheta was in the spotlight as Parsons looked to negotiate a long-term deal in Dallas. Parsons and Cowboys owner/GM Jerry Jones met in March 2025 and discussed the parameters of a new contract, but Mulugheta wasn’t involved in the conversation. The situation ultimately ended in Parsons being traded to Green Bay.
Overshown is looking to make an impact in 2026 after battling injuries at different points in his professional career. He appeared in six games last season, posting 28 total tackles and one tackle for loss.
