KINGSTON — Large-scale live music is returning to Hutton Brickyards, with Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Noah Kahan set to headline an Independence Day festival produced by Rolling Stone.
The event, called Stateside, is Rolling Stone’s first-ever music festival. It will feature performances across two stages by Kahan, Gigi Perez, Sydney Rose, Arcy Drive, Bo Staloch, Devon Gilfillian, Derby, Calder Allen and Michaela Anne.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday, with details available at statesidefest.com/tickets. Pricing was not available as of Monday afternoon, though multiple ticket tiers are planned. One of the highest-tier packages includes two premium tickets, a two-night stay on the property from July 3 to July 5, access to a Friday night dinner and entertainment hosted by Rolling Stone, and on-site parking for one vehicle.
“The main event, on July 4th, channels the timeless spirit of Americana — hot dogs, fireworks, local food vendors, an artisan market, and high times under the summer sun,” according to an article published Monday on Rolling Stone’s website. “Plus, of course, a stacked lineup of music.”
Kahan is a two-time Grammy-nominated folk-pop singer-songwriter. He is embarking on a sold-out national stadium tour this summer to support his new album, “The Great Divide.”
Hutton Brickyards has hosted nationally known acts in the past, including Bob Dylan. It sits on the riverfront site of a 19th-century brick manufacturing operation that supplied materials for major projects, including the Empire State Building and Yankee Stadium.
Today, the property includes private cabins and a historic mansion, and hosts weddings, retreats and festivals, along with dining and spa offerings.
