Highland Park Village investing in renovations near intersection

Highland Park Village is investing in renovations at the well-known shopping hub.  

The retail center is spending roughly $11 million on projects that are slated to begin this year, according to filings with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Details in the department’s filings are preliminary and subject to change without notice. 

One filing shows a project for about $6 million and is at D40, which is near Mockingbird Lane and Douglas Avenue. Another filing is for an approximately $5 million project. It’s at C34, which is also close to the same intersection.  

Highland Park Village is one of the premier shopping attractions in North Texas with some of the biggest names in fashion. They include stand-alone stores with brands from across the country and from other parts of the world, including Dior, Brunello Cucinelli, Fendi and Hermes.

Last year, Miu Miu, the European luxury brand, opened its doors in Highland Park Village with a store that covers about 3,800 square feet. It’s one of less than a dozen such shops in the country, its website shows.
