EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — Singer Morrissey will be performing in El Paso this fall.
Morrissey will perform at the Don Haskins Center in support of the new album, “Make-Up Is a Lie.”
The concert will be held on Nov. 6.
Tickets go on sale Friday at noon.
Morrissey (Steven Patrick Morrissey), is an influential British singer-songwriter best known as the frontman of The Smiths (1982–1987).
Widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in British pop, as well as one of the greatest lyricists of his generation, Morrissey has released 14 solo studio albums, penned an impressive string of No. 1records, and, among many other accomplishments, won an Ivor Novello Award for Outstanding Contribution to British Music. As co-founder and lead singer of The Smiths, he forever altered the history of music within the span of only four albums. As a soloist, he has minted a sound that still reverberates today on stage and on record, with his new album — Make is Lie.
