Spurs playoff wins are doing more than firing up fans — they’re opening the doors for free pet adoptions.
San Antonio Animal Care Services is waiving all fees Monday after the San Antonio Spurs topped the Portland Trail Blazers.
San Antonio is leaning all the way into the team’s postseason run, with Animal Care Services launching its “Race for Seis” promotion tied directly to each Spurs victory.
After every Spurs “W” throughout the playoffs, adoption fees drop to $0 the following day for all available animals — including dogs, cats, puppies and kittens.
Each no-cost adoption comes with key services, including spay or neuter surgery, a registered microchip, initial vaccinations and lifetime access to shelter trainers.
Animal Care Services, at 4710 Texas 151, is encouraging residents to take advantage of the limited-time opportunity as playoff excitement builds across San Antonio.
