A San Antonio company that supplies local coffee shops with fresh, organic juices is finally planting roots in its first brick-and-mortar location on the city’s Far Northwest Side.
Glowers is in the process of setting up its own storefront inside of Singhs Cantina, a partnership that’ll see the juice brand expand its offerings beyond cold-pressed juice. Eric Sanchez of Glowers told MySA that the new shop will serve its signature juices, smoothies, acai bowls, cold brew, matcha and a few grab-and-go items, like overnight oats and toast.
“Beyond the menu, our goal is to create a space that the community can be a part of. We plan to host community events, including pop-ups with local coffee shops and food vendors, run clubs, cycling groups, as well as weekend brunch-style activations,” Sanchez wrote in an email.
On the Singhs side of things, co-owner Eric Treviño said that the cantina location will relaunch into something more of a curated space in addition to having Glowers set up in the building.
“Cantina will start being this kind [of] curated hub for local industry folks, but we’re also going to reopen the bar on weekends and leasing out the space for large events and catering,” Treviño said.
An exact opening date for Glowers hasn’t been set yet, but the business is eyeing early summer for its soft launch. Until then, customers can pick up a Glowers juice at San Antonio spots like Eightball Coffee and Indy Coffee Club or order it through the Glowers app.
