San Antonio is turning into one big watch party Tuesday night.
With the Spurs back in the playoffs and a pivotal Game 5 tipping off at 8:30 p.m., fans without tickets to the Frost Bank Center don’t have to stay home; they can pack patios, bars and outdoor venues across the city to be part of the moment.

Family-friendly watch parties
At the center of it all is The Rock at La Cantera, which has quickly become the go-to postseason hub. After drawing packed crowds for the last two watch parties. With fans filling the space, chanting and reacting to every basket, organizers are expecting another big turnout for Game 5.
The game will play on a 40-foot screen, with DJs, fan activations, photo opportunities, and multiple food vendors on-site. Fans are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets, but parking is limited. Availability will vary depending on how early fans arrive, especially with another large crowd expected.

For fans looking for a more laid-back option, City Base Cinema is offering a free, theater-style viewing experience. Admission is free, with fans able to reserve seats and watch the game in air-conditioned auditoriums with recliners and VIP seating. Screenings are scheduled around regular movie showings, with multiple theaters available depending on demand. Concessions like popcorn, nachos, hot dogs and drinks will also be available.
Sideliners Grill is also welcoming fans with a game-night atmosphere that includes full game audio and food and drink options, offering a casual setting for groups and families to catch the action.
Bar and nightlife watch parties
Across the city, bars and nightlife spots are leaning into the Spurs’ playoff push with themed parties, drink specials, and late-night energy.

At The Growler Exchange, the night doubles as Taco Tuesday, with Amor Bandido serving ribeye tacos and $8 pepperoni pizzas available all night. The venue says it will keep the party going from open to close with the game tipping at 8:30 p.m.
Hills & Dales Ice House is hosting a Game 5 watch party with sound on. There will be $3 wells and draft beers, DJs, and a food truck, along with hookah and bottle service.

At La Gloria at the Pearl, the Game 5 watch party features Spurs-themed specials, including a $12.99 enchilada combo with a drink, $8 margaritas, and $4 beers, paired with what the restaurant calls “lunch rush vibes” and a fast-paced atmosphere.

McFly’s Bar & Barbecue is promoting a big-screen watch party with free pool all day and drink specials, including $3 import and domestic drafts, $4 wells, and $5 select liquors and craft beers.
The Friendly Spot Ice House is inviting fans to gather early, with the game playing on two large LED screens with sound in a welcoming, open-air environment.
Slackers Sports Bar is hosting Game 5 watch parties at multiple locations, including North St. Mary’s Street and Nacogdoches Road. Specials include $3.50 Modelo beers, $4 El Perrito tequila, and discounted buckets, plus taco giveaways while supplies last and an after-party with live music and no cover.
