Plano rolled to a 10-0 shutout over Harvard in Tuesday’s high school varsity baseball action, as Julian Gates and Quentin Santoria each collected three hits to lead the Reapers’ offense, with Eric Nunez and Brandon Ramos adding two hits apiece. Gates and Santoria both doubled, while Santoria also homered and drove in four runs, and he dominated on the mound with a complete-game, seven-inning performance, allowing just four hits with one walk and 13 strikeouts.

Yorkville defeated Oswego 8-4 as Gavin Geegan led the Foxes with three hits and two RBIs, Kal Arntzen doubled and drove in two runs, and Owen Middleton added two hits in the Southwest Prairie Conference win. Gavin Shimizu earned the win, pitching four innings and allowing three earned runs on five hits with three walks and four strikeouts. For Oswego, Hunter Amelio had two hits, Drew Kleinhans doubled and drove in a run, and Cam Loghmani added an RBI.

Marmion Academy fell 8-1 to St. Ignatius College Prep as Alec Gilsinn doubled and drove in Luke Young for the Cadets’ lone run.

Yorkville Christian edged Crossroads 4-3 as Caleb Fulkerson doubled and drove in a run and Austin Vugteveen scored a run.

Kaneland lost 6-5 in 10 innings to Sycamore on a walk-off solo home run, as Kanon Baxley had two hits and Brady Alstott drove in two runs, while Hayden Foster allowed three earned runs on six hits with two walks and 10 strikeouts over five innings.

Hinckley-Big Rock beat Indian Creek 12-5 behind three hits, including a double, three RBIs and three stolen bases from Marshall Ledbetter. Dominik Nelson had the lone hit for Indian Creek and scored twice, while Dylan Wheeler and Cooper Bernabei each drove in a run.

Oswego East outlasted Bolingbrook 7-6 in eight innings as Caden Bregar delivered a walk-off single to score Chase Lafin in the bottom of the eighth. Noah Deist had two hits, including a home run, with three RBIs and a run scored, Bregar added two hits and a run, and Devin Wheaton had two hits with three runs scored.

Aurora Central Catholic edged Leo 3-2 as Luke Janosek had three hits, including a double, and drove in two runs, while Matthew Guzauskas earned the win with 6 2/3 innings pitched, allowing two runs (one earned) on three hits with five walks and eight strikeouts.

Parkview Christian Academy fell 1-0 to Marist in eight innings despite Crew Staudacher allowing just one hit with one walk and eight strikeouts over seven innings in the loss.

Serena topped Somonauk 7-1 as Nate Kelley led the offense with three hits and two RBIs, Carter Meyer added two hits and three RBIs, and Tucker Whiteaker had two hits, while Ryne DeBernardi doubled. Kelley also earned the win, pitching 6 2/3 innings and allowing an unearned run on four hits with three walks and six strikeouts. For Somonauk, Brady Andrews had a hit and drove in the lone run.
