Concerts can be extremely expensive these days, making them a once-in-a-blue-moon event requiring months of saving up for many fans. But Live Nation has a promo that is providing affordable tickets for dozens of summer shows coming to Houston.
Live Nation’s $30 Summer of Live ticket promotion, selling $30 discounted tickets for over 4,000 shows nationally, is starting today and will run until May 5. The $30 price includes all upfront charges; any taxes are charged at the time of purchase.
More than 100 shows coming to Houston are part of the promotion, ranging from legacy acts to current stars, including musical acts Kali Uchis, Big K.R.I.T., Demi Lovato, and Earth, Wind & Fire. There are also festival events tied to the promo, like The Outlaw Festival headlined by Texas legend Willie Nelson, and stand-up comedy featuring acts including Ilana Glazer, Bobby Lee and Jeff Foxworthy.
The roughly 115 shows will take place at various Houston venues, including 713 Music Hall, Bayou Music Center, Toyota Center, The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion and more.
The promotion is part of Live Nation’s broader effort to increase attendance and expand access to live music. For more than 10 years, Live Nation has offered tickets for less than the usual ticket price, though the deal price have since gradually increased—tickets were $25 during the 2024 concert deal. However, this summer has broadened the scope to encompass a greater variety of locations and performers.
Fans can take advantage of the discount directly through Live Nation’s website. Although members have early access, the general public does not need a presale code. Due to the first-come, first-served nature of tickets and the fact that not all seats or shows are included, demand will certainly impact the availability of some shows.
