OBITUARY
Lawrence “Larry” W. Dalton, age 82, Plano, IL formerly of Aurora, Big Rock and Millbrook, IL. Larry was born on April 27, 1943 in Aurora, IL, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2026 at home with his loving family by his side, wife Mary, daughter Tracy and son Chad. He died from complication of gastrointestinal perforation. Son of Wayne F. and Dolores (Pawlowski) Dolton.
Larry graduated from East Aurora High School in 1961. Attended U of I, Joliet Jr. and Waubonsee Community College. Worked at Austin Western, Straits Engineering, Clark Equipment and retired from Aurora Metal in 2008. Served as Big Rock Township Trustee; Chief and Assistant Chief on the Big Rock Fire Department and a member of the Estates of Millbrook HOA committee.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12:30 PM on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at the English Congregational United Church of Christ, 301 Rhodes Avenue, Big Rock, IL. A Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the hour of Service at the Church in Big Rock on Saturday, June 20, 2026.
