ODEM, Texas — San Patricio County Sheriff’s officials confirmed Thursday that two more juveniles have been charged with indecency with a child in connection with a December school bus assault involving an Odem-Edroy ISD student.

The case involves an alleged assault on a juvenile aboard a school bus returning from a basketball game in Hebbronville.
Officials said the two juveniles face indecency with a child charges, with one classified as a second-degree felony and the other as a third-degree felony.
It follows the arrest of 18-year-old Odem-Edroy ISD student Christopher Jacob Soto, who was previously taken into custody in the same investigation.
According to the San Patricio County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred Dec. 9 as students traveled back to Odem.
Authorities were notified on Dec. 12. Investigators conducted a forensic interview with the juvenile victim and gathered evidence as part of the case.
