LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The West Texas Roller Derby is hosting a New Skater Recruitment Clinic on Sunday, May 3, 2026, from 10 to 11:30 AM at SK806 Roller Rink and Events Center, 12209 Geneva Avenue.
This is a free event, and those with the group say, “The New Skater recruitment Clinic benefits adults (18+) who are curious about roller derby by giving them a safe, welcoming way to learn basic skating and derby skills, while also helping West Texas Roller Derby grow by bringing new skaters into the league and strengthening the local roller derby community.”
