We spoke to two fans, Ana Cobos and Enedina Martinez and asked them all the fun questions!
Where are you coming from?
Cobos: “I came from Puebla, Mexico to El Paso. I feel really nervous and I don’t know what to expect about El Paso and the concert. It’s my first time (in El Paso).”
Martinez: “I’m from Houston. I took the train mainly because it was a longer trip and I wanted to do a scenic route because I had never really driven this far out. I’ve only just been on the airplane and then left Texas, but took it. It was a really great ride I recommend people take that more.”
What’s your first impression of El Paso?
Cobos: “I think it’s cute. I don’t know why, but when we walk in El Paso, I think it’s very, very, very special. I don’t know, but I feel, like, comfortable. It’s beautiful.”
Martinez: “I was very surprised that BTS came here (El Paso). That was like a very, very big eye opener for me. But it was really cool that way we could bring some more culture down here and more tourism.”
What are you going to do in El Paso besides the concert?
Cobos: “Shopping. Try maybe a new food and new places.”
Martinez: “We’re going to go mainly check out the museums and the art, the art district. And then she just told me that there was like a comic convention down here as well. So we’re going to go see what we can find for my fiance, see what we can grab for him.”
What songs are you most excited to hear?
Cobos: “I want to hear ‘My Universe’, so BTS, if you can hear me, please sing that song for the last night. I don’t know what other song. Of the new album, I love ‘Hooligan’ and ‘Aliens.’ I think they’re one of the most powerful songs of the BTS album.”
Martinez: “Maybe ‘Butterfly’, I like that one. That one’s a really good popular song.”
