After a week full of severe and wet weather, the sun returns to North Texas on Saturday. 

The day is starting clear and sunny with temperatures topping out near 75 degrees before dropping to 54 degrees at night, according to the National Weather Service’s Fort Worth office. 

There is no rain in the forecast for the rest of the weekend. 

The coming week is going to bring 80-degrees days to North Texas, the weather service’s forecast predicts. There is a possibility of showers and thunderstorm sometime next week, mainly Tuesday and Wednesday. 

The rest of the week is going to be cloudy and warm. 

SATURDAY: Mostly sunny and pleasant. High: 74. Wind: N 5-10 mph.

SUNDAY: Sunny and warmer. Low: 51. High: 79. Wind: S 10-15 mph.

MONDAY: Warmer and breezy with sunshine and a few clouds. Low: 58. High: 82. Wind: S 15-25 mph.

TUESDAY: Partly cloudy and very warm. Low: 67. High: 90. Wind: SW 10-20 mph.

WEDNESDAY: Partly cloudy with a low chance for a storm in the area. Low: 68. High: 86. Wind: W 10-20 mph.
