Hays County has released early voting results for the Dripping Springs City Council Place 2 and Place 4 elections.
What you need to know
Two seats are up for election on the Dripping Springs City Council. Candidate Ana Grace Husted and Incumbent Wade King are seeking votes in the Dripping Springs City Council, Place 2 race. King is currently serving as the Place 2 council member. According to early voting results, Husted is leading with 64% of votes, or 152 votes, followed by King with 36%, or 86 votes.
Incumbent Wm. Travis Crow and candidate Mitch Royer are seeking votes in the Dripping Springs City Council, Place 4 race. Crow is currently serving as the Place 4 council member. Early results show Crow in the lead with 51% of the votes, or 117 votes, followed by Royer with 49% of the votes, or 114.What else?
Unofficial early voting results showed that 1,605 ballots were cast countywide, compared to 101,415 registered Hays County voters.
What’s next?
Polls closed at 7 p.m.; voters who were in line at 7 p.m. were still able to cast ballots.
All results are unofficial until canvassed on May 8.
