EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — A wrong-way driver stop in East El Paso early Sunday led deputies to seize a ghost gun, suspected narcotics and U.S. military-issued equipment, and to arrest three people, according to authorities.

At about 2:20 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop near North Zaragoza Road and Pellicano Drive after seeing a silver passenger vehicle traveling in the wrong direction.

During the investigation, deputies saw a firearm in plain view and detected the presence of suspected narcotics.

A search of the vehicle turned up less than two ounces of marijuana, two additional bags containing suspected illegal narcotics, a “ghost gun” described as a pistol-style rifle without a visible serial number or identifying markings, and various U.S. military-issued equipment.

All occupants were taken into custody.
