The latest H-E-B in Dallas-Fort Worth is nearly ready to open.

The grocer has set May 20 for the launch of its store in Euless, according to a statement from the company. The store is slated to be located on Rio Grande Boulevard.

H-E-B plans to open the doors for the “Mid-Cities” site at 6 a.m.

The company, competing with rivals such as Walmart, Trader Joe’s and Kroger, is building new stores to expand its reach in North Texas. The region has seen strong population growth and corporate relocations that are helping to power new retail construction to serve customers.

The new site, located near the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, follows the opening of other H-E-B stores in recent months. That includes a launch in Forney earlier this year and another site in Rockwall in October of 2025.

San Antonio-based H-E-B, which has multiple brands, is eyeing expansion in other parts of North Texas, including Garland and Dallas.
