NWS: Slight chance of thunderstorms for San Antonio, Hill Country starting Wednesday

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — The National Weather Service says there is a bout a 20-30-percent chance of thunderstorms for San Antonio and the Hill Country starting Wednesday night and into early Thursday morning.

Chances for severe weather will be greater up the I-35 Corridor in Williamson, Lee, Travis, Bastrop and Fayette counties.

While the chances for severe weather are slim, it is worth noting some storms that do form could be severe. The main threats will be damaging winds and large hail. There is low concern over the formation of tornadoes.
