Suspicious package reported at Army Reserve site on McArdle prompts police response

CCPD shut down part of the 4700 block for about an hour as officers continue to investigate.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Police said a suspicious package was reported at the US Army Reserve Center on McArdle Road around 10:45 a.m. Tuesday.

The Corpus Christi Police Senior Public Information Officer, Jennifer Collier, said officers remain on the scene as they continue to investigate.

Police said the package was left in front of the site.
