The Dallas Cowboys continue to explore veteran depth in the secondary, hosting cornerback Adoree’ Jackson for a free agent visit on Tuesday. Jackson spent the 2025 season with the Philadelphia Eagles, where he started 10 games and improved over time opposite Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean. The veteran defensive back recorded 55 tackles, 11 pass breakups, and one interception while playing a key rotational role in Philadelphia’s secondary.
One key connection could be behind Dallas’ interest. Jackson worked closely with defensive backs coach Christian Parker during his time in Philadelphia, and Parker is now the defensive coordinator for the Dallas Cowboys. That familiarity with the scheme and coaching style could make Jackson an appealing addition as the Cowboys look to solidify their cornerback depth.
Dallas has been active in evaluating experienced defensive backs this offseason, aiming to add competition and proven production to its roster ahead of training camp. They added Caleb Downs in the draft, and Jackson’s versatility and experience in multiple defensive systems make him a strong candidate to contribute if a deal is reached.
