The San Antonio Police Department said a murder-suicide at a North Side home that killed three and seriously injured another began when the suspect “forced entry” into the house.

Around 11:45 p.m. Tuesday, the 25-year-old man entered the home in the 100 block of Croesus Avenue, near Interstate 10 and Vance Jackson Road, according to a preliminary police report. He shot three people in the home before turning the gun on himself.

The 25-year-old suspect, a 64-year-old man and 60-year-old woman were all pronounced dead at the scene. A 24-year-old woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

A 33-year-old woman and a 4-year-old boy escaped the home unharmed, police said.

Authorities have not released information on the relationships between the suspect and the victims.

The deceased will be identified by the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office, which will determine each person’s cause and manner of death.

Police said the investigation is ongoing and did not release further information.
