HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Authorities said a person was killed and another was detained following a shooting in northeast Houston.
According to the Houston Police Department, officers responded to the reported shooting at 12:05 p.m. on Wednesday in the 6200 block of Fairchild Street.
Investigators did not say whether the person detained was the suspected shooter.
Officials have not released the identities of the victim or the suspect.
