Several Round Rock residential areas will be the site of road maintenance projects for about five months this year, city officials said.

What you need to know

City officials moved forward with a $4.4 million contract with Lone Star Paving at an April Round Rock City Council meeting, as part of the city’s regular street maintenance program.

Improvements are funded by the city’s self-financed construction budget.

The details

Streets to receive maintenance—milling and new asphalt overlay, pavement patching as well as curb, sidewalk and driveway approach repairs—are located in the Chisholm Valley, Windy Park, Stone Oak and Indian Ridge neighborhoods.
