LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Lubbock police responded to a home near 24th and Boston after they received a call that a 6-year-old girl had been kidnapped. Investigators say a male suspect took the girl from her home around 11 p.m..
Officers later arrested the man about 30 minutes later around Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and 36th street. The girl was found safe.
The suspect’s name has not been released. He is being held in the Lubbock county jail. Investigators are working to determine a motive for the kidnapping.
