El Paso police detectives are conducting a death investigation in the Northeast.
The case started with a call about an unattended death at about 10:15 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6, at an apartment complex in the 4700 block of Hondo Pass Drive, between Dyer Street and the Patriot Freeway, a police spokesperson said in a media message on Thursday morning.

The investigation is being handled by detectives with the Crimes Against Persons Unit.

The identity of the deceased person, a cause of death and further details were not immediately released as the investigation continued on Thursday.
