A woman from out-of-state was killed in a crash on the Pennsylvania Turnpike last month. State police say 22-year-old Navya Nelakuditi of Texas was in the front seat of 27-year-old Sai Sandu’s car in the New Stanton area on April 8 when Sandu fell asleep. The car hit an embankment and rolled over. The medical examiner said Nelakuditi died the next day from blunt force injuries and her death was ruled an accident.
