Spooky season may be coming to an end but regardless of the season ghosts continue to haunt iconic El Paso locations and everyday we hear more and more El Paso ghost stories and today is no different.
We have all heard about the ghosts that haunt Concordia Cemetery, or ghosts that haunt El Paso hospitals. Then there’s ghosts that love school so much, they hunt the halls of schools like El Paso High School.
Our city is full of so much history and historic buildings that we are bound to have a few ghost stories. I’ve heard so many El Paso urban legends, but most recently I came across an article on El Paso Water’s website that gave me chills and had me hooked because I love a good El Paso ghost story.

Is “La Niña” Haunting The Halls of El Paso Water?!
And that’s just the beginning. Employees at the Hawkins Boulevard building which was once a bank back in the 1980s say they’ve heard footsteps in empty hallways, felt invisible tugs on their hair, and even watched a massive vault door swing open by itself. *Screams in Spanish*
Some say the ghost is a little girl nicknamed “La Niña.” Security footage reportedly showed her outside the door, clutching a doll and waiting to be let in.
From mysterious laughter to the sweet scent of perfume appearing out of nowhere, El Paso Water’s office sounds less like a workplace and more like the set of a paranormal documentary.
So, if your printer ever starts working overtime after dark… RUN!!
