AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – A Randall County Grand Jury indicted a man on charges related to a deadly shooting on South Dallas Street on March 22.
On May 6, the grand jury indicted 40-year-old James Pena on the following charges:
capital murder involving multiple personstwo counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon causing serious bodily injury family memberaggravated assault with a deadly weapon

The charges stem from a domestic violence shooting on South Dallas Street that left two people dead and multiple people injured.
The shooting was one of three shooting incidents that occurred in Amarillo on March 22.
Amarillo police say Pena remains in custody at the Randall County Jail.
The incident is still under investigation.
