EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Get ready to go on an ice-skating journey with Mickey Mouse and the gang with Disney On Ice presents Road Trip Adventure!
The shows will take place from Wednesday, May 6, through Sunday, May 10, at the El Paso County Coliseum.
Hit the road with Mickey, Minnie and Goofy as they take you on an interactive adventure through iconic Disney destinations. Guests can expect quick trips to London with Mary Poppins and Jack, Motunui with Moana, the Pride Lands with Simba, Timon and Pumbaa, Agrabah with Aladdin, Genie and Jasmine, and a carnival with Woody, Bo Peep and Forky.
Guests can also sing along to beloved Disney tunes with Merida, Belle, Ariel, Mulan and Tiana as they also will hit the ice!
KTSM 9 News crews spoke with Kathleen O’Neil, a performer with Disney On Ice, and she says that her favorite part of the program is sharing a moment with someone as they dance, sing, smile and enjoy the show.
“You’re only a child for so long but then you get to be a child again when you come to Disney on Ice and seeing the reactions makes it the best part. It’s always interesting to see what kids laugh at or what they question or look at and what they’re interested in and there’s so many songs to take part in as well so it’s very, very special,” O’Neil said.
