Project documents noted an estimated $19.3 million budget for the construction of a new commercial building, located at 13786 W. U.S. Highway 290, Building 100, Suite 101, Austin, TX 78737. The Target is expected to encompass roughly 143,695 square feet, with work on the building slated to begin in February 2027 and wrap up by late January 2028. However, details on TDLR project filings can change without notice.

It’s a second project filing related to the Dripping Springs store, after Target submitted similar filings for the site on March 18. Those documents highlighted a 147,000-square-foot building paired with an approximately $7.5 million sticker price.

Target will serve as an anchor store for The Village at Dripping Springs, a nearly 26.5-acre commercial center with more than 19,000 square feet of retail space still on the market. Area retail tenants neighboring The Village include H-E-B, Torchy’s Tacos, Dunkin, Hat Creek Burger, Chick-fil-A, James Avery and OrangeTheory Fitness, among other businesses.
