LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – LPD’s Major Crash Unit is on the scene at the near 19th Street and Slide Road, after a pedestrian was hit by a car around 7:47 a.m.
When officers responded, they found the victim suffering from serious injuries. They were taken to UMC, where they were pronounced dead.
Initial information shows the car was traveling west in the right lane of 19th when the pedestrian stepped into the road and was hit.
