Police investigate “crime” near Bluff Springs Dr. and Bitter Creek Rd. in SE Austin

AUSTIN, Texas — Austin police units have been stationed at a Southeast Austin neighborhood since Thursday morning, investigating a crime.

According to APD Watch Command, there is a police presence at Bluff Springs Dr. and Bitter Creek Rd. since 9 a.m.

Officials say initial concerns about a shooter have been dismissed.

Authorities are possibly attempting to serve a search warrant, and there may be one victim involved.
